Pye L75B battery portable radio LW MW. wooden cased covered with dark blue leatherette. The battery compartment now has a working "Amplion Convette" model AD1 battery eliminator in place of batteries.
I have been told by the previous owner that it has bee "doctored" to include reverse connected diodes across the filament supply to restrict the voltage rise should one of the valves fail. I have not had the time to open it up to see what is inside.
